Your Role
An assignment that challenges: As Lead Architect Workforce Management (m/f/d), become a shaper of the energy transition: As part of an E.ON-wide project, together with our internal IT service provider EDT, 11 grid operators, and other service providers, we are defining a new standard and an IT business platform for the detailed planning and control of activities in the dynamic environment of power and gas grid construction. The Workforce Management Platform will be used in the future by several thousand international users (internal) in the energy grids sector to uniformly process and manage tasks, schedule, execute, and document construction and maintenance orders. Our mission: Concretization, implementation, and operation of the future Workforce Management Platform. Architecture
- You keep an overview of the complex Workforce Management architecture, identify risks and dependencies, and make well-founded decisions to ensure a stable and future-proof system landscape.
- You define clear framework conditions for architecture and design and ensure that they serve as orientation for development and implementation. In doing so, you act as a central link between business and IT.
- You actively promote innovations by using new developments from Azure, SAP BTP, and mobile clients to create technical and business added value.
- You work closely with subject matter experts and developers from the very beginning in mixed BizDevOps teams. As Lead Architect, you take on the technical leadership of the architecture team. You always keep the goal in mind of finding optimal solutions together and promoting the application of agile methods.
- You ensure that all solutions meet the highest security, data protection, and compliance standards and that our platform and customer data are protected.
Your Background
- Qualification: A completed degree in computer science (business or technical) or a comparable relevant qualification in the IT sector.
- Architecture and Technology Expertise: Proven several years of experience in planning, developing, and scaling complex IT landscapes with different application depths and overall architectural responsibility. Broad technological conceptual know-how in the cloud environment (Azure, SAP BTP, SaaS integration) and in application integration (interfaces, contracts). Knowledge in mobile development (Android, iOS) is desirable.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Several years of experience in the technical leadership of internal architecture teams, as well as in managing external service providers and integrating externally provided components.
- Communication: You have fluent German and very good English skills (min. B2 level) and enjoy working with international teams. You find it easy to prepare and present content in a target-group-oriented manner, both for management and development teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems. You are able to see the big picture as well as delve into the details to develop innovative solutions.
