Software Engineer (Rust)

We're working with an AI infrastructure startup building the backend systems powering real-time model workloads and large-scale data processing.

The engineering team is focused on performance, scalability and reliability at the systems level, with current projects including low-latency data services, distributed compute infrastructure and optimising throughput across critical backend systems.

The role will involve:

• Building backend services in Rust or C++
• Working on distributed systems handling real-time workloads
• Improving latency, concurrency and system performance
• Designing scalable infrastructure used directly by ML/AI teams
• Collaborating closely with infrastructure and platform engineers

Ideal background:

• 4+ years software engineering experience
• Strong Rust or C++
• Experience building backend or distributed systems
• Comfortable working close to performance and concurrency

Backgrounds from trading, crypto, infrastructure or other high-scale environments are highly relevant.
