In the CONTACT Consulting department, you will work together in agile project teams on the implementation and individual adaptation of our software solutions. You will design and be responsible for digital transformation solutions based on our standard software "CONTACT Elements" and ensure the smooth implementation, migration, and operation of complex customer environments. Each customer order presents unique requirements, as we adapt our solutions to the specific business processes and needs of our customers.

Your Responsibilities

• Introduction of our open and modular software portfolio as well as continuous expansion of existing system solutions in highly developed customer projects in the role of an architect
• Technical conception, planning & control of the overall solution and its implementation
• Development and control of integration and migration projects in existing IT environments at the customer's site
• Definition and implementation of interfaces, e.g., towards SAP and legacy systems
• Implementation of non-functional requirements (e.g., performance/scalability, security, interfaces, customer standards, operating concepts)
• Consulting on the use of CONTACT Cloud components and their interaction with cloud strategies on the customer side
• Conception for the use of AI technologies in the PLM & IoT area within the scope of the overall implementation

What We're Looking For

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or scientific field with a strong IT focus
• Leadership competence in the technical management of complex software projects and intercultural project teams, as well as confidence in managing customer requirements
• Several years of experience in practical work as an IT architect – preferably with a focus on the product creation process and/or manufacturing
• Proven experience in software architecture, ideally in the context of digital transformation
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of IoT, artificial intelligence, and sustainability
• Comprehensive knowledge of common IT architecture standards
• Knowledge in building cloud infrastructures
• High assertiveness, flexibility, and mobility in project business, as well as an independent, systematic, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills with customers and project partners, with fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
