About the role

About

The Oracle Enterprise Solution Architecture Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that Oracle solutions are architected as a cohesive business platform. Reporting to the Head of Oracle Fusion CoE, this position is responsible for maintaining solution integrity across various group entities and functions that rely on shared data and process flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own solution architecture across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, CRM, EPM, FDI, P6, Unifier, Risk Management, and major integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose solution designs that balance standard Oracle capability, business practicality, control needs, and long-term maintainability.
  • Lead design workshops with business leaders, process owners, subsidiary teams, PMO, finance, HR, procurement, and project controls stakeholders.
  • Define solution principles, design standards, and review gates to ensure consistent design across the group.
  • Ensure alignment between business processes, data model, security model, approval flows, reporting, analytics, and upstream and downstream integrations.
  • Act as the key architecture point for EPC-specific flows involving projects, cost control, contracts, scheduling, forecasting, commitments, change management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with P6 and Unifier specialists to maintain alignment of project controls solutions with Oracle finance and project structures.
  • Review major incidents and recurring defects to identify design weaknesses and propose structural fixes instead of repeated patches.
  • Guide external implementation or support partners on solution direction, design quality, technical trade‑offs, and documentation standards.
  • Support application rationalisation, standardisation, and roadmap decisions across the group.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle applications, with significant solution architecture experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Strong design experience across multiple modules rather than a single functional silo.
  • Good understanding of project‑based industries such as EPC, industrial services, construction, energy, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with major integrations, enterprise reporting, security considerations, and data dependencies in Oracle landscapes.
  • Exposure to Primavera P6 and Unifier in a project controls context is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with both business users and technical teams, converting complex needs into practical solution designs.
