Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Key Requirements:

• Strong SME-level expertise in AWS (primary) with Azure (secondary)
• 12+ years of overall experience (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, etc.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance
• Experience in Disaster Recovery design and backup/recovery operations
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS) and DevOps practices
• Experience working with third-party vendors and managing cloud operations
• Ability to provide technical leadership and support (L1–L3)

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (AWS-first environment)
• Support and manage Azure workloads (secondary)
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards
• Lead cloud initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and DR readiness
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless cloud operations
