CompNova is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer/Infrastructure.

Position Details

• Location: El Segundo California 90245
• Type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months with high possibility of extension.

MUST HAVE

• Deep knowledge of cloud identity and access management (Entra ID, RBAC, app registrations, service principals).
• Demonstrated ability to enforce cloud governance, security guardrails, compliance controls, and FinOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise engineering and operating Microsoft Azure and AWS production environments at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure/operations/engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Azure, AWS, Entra ID, DevOps pipelines, Terraform, and cloud networking.
• Experience directing or collaborating with large-scale managed services partners.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, FinOps, and identity.
• Strong communicator capable of leading partners and influencing internal stakeholders.

Preferred

• Azure or AWS Architect certifications.
• FinOps Practitioner certification.
• Experience with large-scale platform migrations (cloud or on-prem).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, ISO).
