Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, ePace Technologies, Inc, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist. Location: Woodlawn, MD / Onsite.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and maintain statistical and ML models using Python, SAS, and R
• Perform advanced analytics on large-scale big data environments
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows (Greenplum preferred)
• Translate complex analysis into insights for senior leadership
• Collaborate with SMEs and Product Owners in an Agile environment
• Mentor junior data scientists and support delivery excellence

Requirements

• 10+ years of data science experience in large-scale/big data environments
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, ML, NLP, and feature engineering
• Hands‑on experience with SAS, Python, R
• Experience integrating claims, payment, or administrative data
• Knowledge of productionizing models and MLOps best practices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
