About the Role

As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing large datasets, uncovering insights, and driving data‑driven decision‑making within our organization. Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements, manipulating data and drawing insights from large data sets
• Create and use advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics, such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
• Create data architectures
• Visualize and present data to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline)
• Minimum of one (1) year of hands‑on experience in data analysis, machine learning, or statistical modeling
• Demonstrated expertise gained through relevant internships, coursework, and personal projects
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) with an emphasis on scalable data analysis
• Minimum 7 years of experience

Required Skills / Certifications

• Competency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience working with databases
• Strong data analysis skills, including data cleaning, exploration, and visualization
• Foundation in machine learning with experience building and deploying models
• Ability to approach complex data problems, devise solutions, and implement them within project deadlines and objectives
• Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine‑learning, clustering, classification techniques, and algorithms
• Fluency in programming languages (Python, C, C++, Java, SQL)
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
• Awareness of ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness in algorithms

Preferred Skills / Certifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science or closely related field
• Recognized certifications in the field of Data Science

Security Clearance

• Must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher)
• U.S. Citizenship required

Compensation

• $150,000‑$200,000 per year based on skills and experience
