Sr Graphic Designer: POS

Design for some of the most (globally) well-known brands.

This role is based in office/ warehouse on the Umhlanga side of Durban.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative and eye-catching packaging, labels and point of sales displays for consumer products
• Collaborate closely with industrial designers, account managers and manufacturing and be part of the team to see what you design being printed and built
• Conceptualize and develop creative packaging and point of sales concepts that effectively communicate brand identity
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.

Requirements and Skills

• 2+ years related experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in packaging design and point of sales displays, preferably within the FMCG / manufacturing industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional skills in:
  • 3D product/ packaging designs
  • Layout
  • Typography
  • Creative projects
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Take initiative, follow through, have a sense of responsibility and raise the bar for other designers
• Be entrepreneurial and part of a community
• Accept feedback and willing to grow and expand your skillset as a designer, business acumen and project management skills
