Role Overview
The Operations and Support Lead ensures the stability, reliability, and performance of the organization’s digital platform. This role combines operational leadership with Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve system resilience, scalability, and efficiency. The position involves managing day‑to‑day operations, incident response, and driving automation and reliability initiatives across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Operations & Reliability
- Monitor and maintain platform health, availability, and performance.
- Apply SRE principles to improve reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Error Budgets.
- Implement proactive capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Drive continuous improvement in support processes and customer satisfaction.
Incident & Problem Management
- Lead resolution of critical incidents and coordinate cross‑functional response.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Utilize advanced monitoring, observability tools, and trend analysis to identify potential issues before they impact service availability.
SRE‑Specific Missions
Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Reduce manual operational tasks through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Observability
- Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for real‑time visibility.
- Implement distributed tracing and advanced telemetry for root cause analysis.
Resilience Engineering
- Design and execute chaos engineering experiments to validate system robustness.
- Improve failover strategies and disaster recovery plans.
Performance & Scalability
- Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into application design.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as liaison between operations, development, and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting on reliability metrics, incidents, and operational improvements.
- Contribute to change management and release planning.
The Experience You Bring
- Ability to work independently and in a cross‑functional team.
- Fluent in English & French (written and spoken).
- 8+ years of professional technical experience.
- Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo constructively and drive improvements.
Work Mode & Location
- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) and 17ème after the trial period.
