This is a Clinical Pharmacometrics Expert (M/F/D) position.

Responsibilities

  • Development and application of model-based methods in drug research (e.g. quantitative pharmacological models).
  • Development and analysis of mechanistic models for investigating biological and pharmacological mechanisms of action.
  • Conducting simulations of virtual patient cohorts to evaluate therapeutic effects and variability.
  • Supporting dosage and therapy strategies through model-based analyses.
  • Contributing to the optimisation of clinical trials (e.g. dosage, regimen, study design).
  • Using programming and analysis tools (e.g. R, Python, Matlab) for modelling and data-driven analyses.

Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in pharmacometrics, quantitative systems pharmacology, systems biology or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in mechanistic modelling of biological systems (including differential equations).
  • Experience in statistical modelling and quantitative analysis of clinical and preclinical data.
  • Programming and modelling with R, Python and Matlab.
  • Practical experience in drug development and support for dose and study design decisions.
  • Business fluent in English, German.

Conditions

  • Start: 03/2026
  • Duration: 24 months
  • Workload: 5 days a week
  • Location: remote & on-site
  • Salary: EUR 48000 - 84000 per year
