Storage and Backup Engineer

Prostaff are seeking the services of an experienced Storage and Backup Engineer or a long term contract in Bern.

We are strengthening our clients' highly secure Private Cloud platform and need deep NetApp and Commvault expertise.

This is your chance to work at the heart of a high‑availability, high‑resilience Private Cloud, where DevSecOps, automation, and continuous improvement drive everything.

Role Details

Title: Storage and Backup Engineer
Rate: dependent on experience
Location: Bern, Switzerland
Work Policy: Hybrid – 2 days onsite
Language: German Fluent

You’ll work on:

Platform operations & optimisation
Automation (Python/Bash)
ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Monitoring, Change)
Continuous improvement & documentation

You must bring:

German C1/C2
NetApp (install/config/tuning)
Commvault (backup/restore/archiving)
Storage expertise: SAN/NAS, NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI
Hybrid cloud & troubleshooting experience
