System Engineer 2 /3 (Integration) – Annapolis Junction, MD

Responsibilities

• Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Required Skills

• Must have experience with integration, configuration, installation, etc., for a CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) team.
• Recent Polygraph (<5 years) required.

Qualifications

System Engineer 2

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

System Engineer 3

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary Range

• $215k‑$285k annually (range is indicative; actual compensation will be based on experience, location, and contractual requirements).
