Role

In this role, you will take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and administration of IT systems and infrastructures to ensure stable and secure operation. You will analyze existing environments, identify optimization potential, and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements. You will manage server, network, and virtualization environments, proactively monitor systems, and resolve disruptions in a structured and sustainable manner. You will also be responsible for documenting systems and processes and ensuring professional support for internal stakeholders through your expertise. With your experience as an IT System Administrator, you will significantly contribute to the further development and future-proofing of the IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of modern server and infrastructure environments for SME customers
• Operation and support of hybrid IT landscapes (on-premise and cloud)
• Ensuring stable operation and support for technical disruptions
• Participation in IT projects from analysis and design to implementation
• Further development of existing system landscapes in the areas of server, virtualization, and cloud
• Support in technical customer support and point of contact for infrastructure topics

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in the IT field (e.g., Informatiker EFZ) or comparable qualification
• Experience as a System Engineer in an infrastructure environment
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and cloud solutions
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure is an advantage
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• Enjoy direct customer contact and teamwork
• Fluent German
