What you’ll do

• Own and support managed services customers as a technical lead
• Work hands-on with VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, and Azure environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure issues
• Manage backups, patching, monitoring, and overall system health
• Participate in customer cadence meetings (monthly/bi-weekly)
• Contribute to automation using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
• Document environments, solutions, and best practices
• Participate in an on-call rotation

What they’re looking for

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience in managed services or enterprise IT
• Strong experience with virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, etc.)
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS also useful)
• Experience with RMM tools (ConnectWise Automate a plus)
• Solid networking fundamentals
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities

Certifications

One certification required (or willing to obtain within 90 days):

• Citrix
• Windows Server Hybrid

Work expectations

• Hybrid role (must live in KC metro area)
• On-call rotation required
