About the role
Position Overview:
This role requires a versatile professional who can engage with clients in a friendly manner, understand their needs, and deliver customized network solutions. Responsibilities include managing diverse network environments, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to businesses involving their operation of network components. desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls/routers, printers, monitors, projectors, etc.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and system administration.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Plan and assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly recommendations.
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and trust.
- Background supporting Microsoft Server and networking technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of overall IT support experience.
- 2+ years of recent desktop support experience, including installing, upgrading, and managing Microsoft desktop environments.
- Experience working directly with end users in a client-facing capacity.
- Experience imaging, updating, and patching laptops and desktops.
- Familiarity with phone systems and mobile device support.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
- Experience with large networks
- Experience with Networking and some Server Background
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
