Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Management, Computer Science, or a comparable natural science degree (e.g., Mathematics), or an equivalent IT qualification with relevant experience.
- Several years of practical experience in software development with knowledge of various technologies, architectural styles, and programming languages.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing software development teams.
- A communicative and assertive leadership personality with a desire to shape and empathy.
- Analytical, conceptually strong, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong sense of quality and responsibility in collaboration, architecture, and software.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level).
Responsibilities
- Leadership and strategic development of our in-house, business-critical applications.
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of 16 employees, fostering individual strengths.
- Active contribution to corporate success, including full cost center and budget responsibility.
- Clarification of project requirements and goals in exchange with internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring timely and efficient implementation of our projects.
- Participation in IT strategy development with other IT leaders and setting standards in architecture and software development.
- Driving innovation and introducing new technologies, frameworks, and modern working methods.
- Identifying optimization potential and establishing best practices.
- Ensuring quality in our software products as well as in development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Ensuring the robustness, security, traceability, and long-term maintainability of our solutions.
