For an internationally oriented company in finance and accounting, we are looking for an experienced Team Lead Accounting (gn) who takes responsibility and, together with a dedicated team, designs efficient and future-oriented processes.

Your tasks as Team Lead Accounting:

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Ensuring efficient and error-free accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes
• Technical point of contact for accounting and bookkeeping issues in coordination with auditors at home and abroad
• Coordination of relevant interfaces, especially with controlling and HR
• Optimization and management of operational processes, for example in payment transactions, fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and HR-related bookings
• Active further development of accounting processes with a focus on standardization and digitalization

What skills you bring:

• Sound experience in accounting and in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Confident understanding of bookkeeping processes and their optimization
• Confidence in dealing with international issues and reconciliations
• Strong communication and coordination skills for collaboration with different departments
• Motivation to drive change and continuously improve processes
