TECHNICAL APPLICATION ENGINEER | 60 - 100%

Do you thrive on topics like software & infrastructure and are you enthusiastic about complex software solutions? Do you enjoy using and applying your knowledge in both the on-premise and cloud worlds – for us internally, for our software products, but also increasingly in IT projects with our customers?

Are you also a people person with a communicative, customer- and service-oriented personality and do you also want to be involved in consulting, presentations, and support with your technical and functional knowledge?

If YES – then this is your opportunity:

YOUR ROLE

With your enthusiasm, you are primarily responsible for the technical software and infrastructure part – you manage the topics holistically: from strategy to operations to realization.

You enjoy customer contact and are happy to assist our customers with your technical advice in projects and support.

You use your valuable experience to identify the technical requirements of customers in discussions or workshops.

You are responsible for and coordinate our software installations and configurations (on-prem and Cloud) with our customers.

You are a welcome contact person for the technical installations of accounting solutions (Infoniqa) and configure interfaces in our software products.

When SQL Server migrations are pending at our customers, you volunteer and enjoy carrying them out smoothly.

Hosting and its monitoring are fun for you and you ensure that everything is always state of the art and runs smoothly.

Testings? Yes, you support our product team in the technical and also in the functional part as soon as new features or software modules have been developed.

You are keen to delve deeper into the functional knowledge and support our customers, as well as our team, with your cool knowledge combination of 'Tech + Functional'.

YOUR QUALITIES

The software industry, especially in technology, systems, and infrastructure, is your passion. You have several years of experience as an IT specialist, technical or system engineer, or in a similar field.

You have comprehensive knowledge of SQL Servers, Windows infrastructure, virtualization, and networks, and Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 are not foreign to you.

Ideally, you are familiar with business software products, as our software products are ERPs and business software for order and project management for service providers.

Interface products include Infoniqa, Abacus, and Topal.

You enjoy project management as well as new technologies and continuous improvement.

You have a customer-focused heart, are service-oriented, and have a customer success mindset.

Reliability, communication, and empathy are your attributes – and not just incidental words.

You have team spirit – and not just in spirit, but alive in everyday life.

Your native language is definitely Swiss German/German, and you can communicate in English without any problems.
