Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineering Manager (Part-Time Contractor) to provide senior technical oversight and guidance across engineering initiatives within our global transformation program.

This role will act as a technical advisor and engineering lead, supporting multiple engineering workstreams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering. The Technical Engineering Manager will ensure that engineering solutions are technically sound, aligned with industry standards, and effectively integrated into manufacturing operations.

This is a part-time contract role, suited to a highly experienced engineering professional who can provide strategic technical leadership and support complex engineering initiatives across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership • Provide senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines supporting manufacturing and facility infrastructure. • Ensure engineering designs and solutions meet industry best practices and operational requirements. • Support complex technical decision-making across engineering projects.

Engineering Governance • Review and approve technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation. • Ensure consistent engineering standards and design principles are applied across projects and sites.

Project & Engineering Support • Provide technical support to project teams delivering engineering and infrastructure initiatives. • Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges during project execution and commissioning.

Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, site leadership, and external engineering partners. • Provide expert input during technical reviews, vendor evaluations, and engineering planning discussions.

What You Will Do: • Provide technical oversight and guidance across engineering projects within the global transformation program. • Review and validate engineering designs, specifications, and technical solutions related to manufacturing upgrades and facility improvements. • Support engineering teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to ensure consistent technical standards. • Act as a technical advisor to project managers, engineers, and site leadership. • Identify potential technical risks, design challenges, or integration issues and recommend solutions. • Support the selection and evaluation of engineering suppliers, contractors, and technical partners. • Ensure engineering solutions align with operational requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. • Provide guidance during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases for key engineering initiatives. • Contribute to the development of engineering standards, technical documentation, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
