Technical Writer (m/w/d)

The Adam Hall Group is a leading manufacturer of event technology, offering innovative solutions for professional audio, lighting, stage, and event technology. As a Technical Writer (m/f/d), you will be part of a small team of editors and responsible for the creation and maintenance of our user manuals, service manuals, and quick start guides in English. You will work closely with product developers from audio, lighting, and stage technology, as well as the Product Compliance department, Product Management, and Technical Service. In our motivated team, you will be the point of contact for questions regarding documentation and will be directly involved in the product development process. The environment offers you scope for editorial process improvements within your area of responsibility and adjacent interfaces.

Your Tasks:

• You create, update, and optimize user manuals, quick start guides, and service manuals for our products in English using our XML-based editorial system Schema ST4, with a focus on service manuals.
• As an ST4 Power User, you will take on administrative tasks in Schema ST4.
• You observe technological trends in AI and technical documentation and actively contribute ideas for the further development of our editorial strategy.
• You participate in the introduction and further development of AI applications in editorial work (e.g., AI-based text generation, terminology support, content analysis).
• You work closely with development, product compliance, product management, and technical service.
• Together with the team, you develop new concepts for the digital provision of manuals.
• You shape our terminology management.
• You create and edit graphics, images, and technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the callout editor of our editorial system.
