Key Responsibilities
- Create and review technical documentation for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Prepare, revise, and maintain technical documents across various domains including software, systems/network engineering, and user documentation.
- Draft and edit materials detailing hardware and software requirements, including installation instructions and end-user guides.
- Establish and standardize documentation templates for all document types.
- Ensure compliance with agency publication standards and style guides.
- Work collaboratively with authors to enhance narrative organization.
- Maintain a well-organized document library for easy storage, retrieval, and updates.
- Engage in special projects as necessary.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Education: BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Desired Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
- Security Clearance: Must possess TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a CI Polygraph.
- Knowledge of technical research, writing, and editing principles.
- Proficiency in various word-processing and desktop publishing software.
- Understanding of the organization's offerings and user needs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work Location: On Customer Site - 200 MacDill Blvd, Washington, DC 200 MacDill Blvd (DCC174) and USA MD Elkridge - Customer Proprietary (MDC244).

The expected salary range for this position is $93,662 - $126,500, depending on experience and location.
