Technical Writer / Information Developer (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

• You independently develop target-group-oriented technical customer documentation for various areas (user, service) and products (hardware, software).
• You write the documentation according to applicable standards in German and English using our editorial systems (including XML-based).
• You work independently based on your own technical knowledge, your own research, use development documents and product simulations, and conduct interviews with internal partners.
• You are responsible for the entire documentation creation process, from your own research and the creation of the information concept to publication and handover for translation.
• You develop information architectures and implement defined concepts.
• In doing so, you contribute to the further development of documentation products and the search for new solutions.
• You work closely with colleagues within our editorial teams and with our cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and internal stakeholders.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in technical communication, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable degree program.
• Professional experience in technical communication, mastery of documentation methods such as topic-based writing, single source, and cross-media publishing in content management systems.
• Experience in collaboration in a complex project environment, documenting products with a long service life, and working with version control and change management tools.
• Quick comprehension, strong technical interest, and willingness to independently familiarize yourself with complex technical topics.
• Experience in writing according to editorial standards, such as S1000D, is desirable.
• Very good analytical and abstract thinking skills.
• Very good German and English skills, mastery of technical terminology.
