About

We are seeking a Technician to support a Communications and Control Engineering group as a hands‑on, field‑based resource. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and functionality of communication systems and distribution devices through installation, verification, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Perform field installation, configuration, and verification of communication equipment and controllers
• Troubleshoot electrical, networking, and communication issues with distribution devices
• Support battery storage systems and related program verification efforts
• Maintain and update databases and documentation for field equipment
• Coordinate closely with engineering and technical services teams to resolve issues
• Travel to assigned service centers and field locations daily
• Follow safety procedures, including use of PPE and safe driving practices
• Occasionally use ladders and perform physical fieldwork as required

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of experience in communications, IT, telecommunications, or electrical troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of networking concepts (Ethernet, connectivity, firewalls)
• Experience with database updates and basic data management
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and field personnel
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
