As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Test Automation Engineer for a temporary assignment of 1 year, with high probability of extension. The focus is on the development of a complex system for molecular diagnostics. In this sensitive environment where precision is critical, the Test Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software algorithms and hardware interfaces function flawlessly. The role acts as a Software Engineer in Test (SET) and utilizes modern methods such as Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) to bridge the gap between requirements and technical implementation.

The Test Automation Engineer is jointly responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated test strategies for the molecular diagnostic platforms. This includes both software‑side security and the validation of physical interfaces through the use of state‑of‑the‑art robotics solutions (standard market solutions as well as customized in‑house developments). This work contributes directly to ensuring that diagnostic results in the laboratory are available quickly and with absolute reliability.

The position operates in a technologically demanding field that combines the safety of Rust with the agility of modern CI/CD processes to perfect life‑saving medical technology.
