Senior Cloud Engineer (12+ Years Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms (VMs, VPC/VNet, Storage, Load Balancers, Databases).
• Administer and optimize cloud services such as EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Azure Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, and DNS.
• Implement robust identity and access management solutions using Azure AD, IAM, RBAC, MFA, and SSO.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, and CloudFormation.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, and Ansible.
• Configure and manage monitoring/logging solutions including Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Ensure cloud security best practices using tools such as Azure Policy, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Security Groups, NACLs, and KMS.
• Manage and configure networking components including VPCs, VNets, Subnets, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and support modernization efforts.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and technical knowledge base.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity management, and encryption.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC/VNet, peering, VPN, Direct Connect).
• Experience working with Linux, Windows, and virtualized environments (VMware).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure or AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• Experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Prior experience in hybrid cloud deployments.
