UI/UX Designer Apprenticeship - Internship

About the Role

As a UI/UX Designer Apprentice at our company, you will have the opportunity to work under the mentorship of senior designers to enhance your skills and contribute to the design of web and mobile interfaces. You will be focusing on solving real user problems through research, user flows, and modern visual design using Figma as the primary tool. The successful completion of this apprenticeship can lead to certification and a potential full-time offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct UX research, competitor analysis, and gather user insights
• Create user flows, personas, journey maps, and site maps
• Design wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens in Figma
• Build and maintain design systems, reusable components, and style guides
• Collaborate with internal teams to convert requirements into design solutions
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and feedback meetings
• Support usability testing and iterate designs based on user insights
• Ensure organization and maintenance of design files, versions, and documentation
• Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, patterns, and tools

Qualification Required

• Bachelors degree in Design, UI/UX, Interaction Design, Communication/Graphic Design, or a related field
• Strong understanding of UX research, user flows, personas, and problem-solving
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, user journeys, site maps, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Experience with Figma components, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other prototyping/design tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of how designs translate into development is beneficial
• Prior project experience or a portfolio showcasing design thinking and clean UI work
