We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Consultant to manage the operational activities of our US-based company from India. This role will focus on a broad range of functions, including recruitment, bench sales, employee onboarding, contract management, invoicing, and QuickBooks administration. The ideal candidate will be a well‑rounded professional with experience in HR, sales, finance, and operations, capable of handling diverse tasks while working collaboratively with teams in the US.

This position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who can work autonomously and is comfortable navigating remote operations in a fast‑paced, cross‑border environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

    • Collaborate with the US HR team to manage recruitment activities for open positions.
    • Post job listings on relevant job portals, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and present shortlisted candidates to US hiring managers.
    • Assist with candidate assessments, background checks, and onboarding procedures.
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for various roles, including both permanent and contract positions.
  2. Bench Sales:

    • Oversee bench sales operations for consultants/contractors in the bench (inactive) status, ensuring timely placements.
    • Work closely with sales and recruitment teams to identify client requirements for bench resources.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs and promote available resources.
    • Negotiate contracts and placement terms, ensuring smooth transitions for bench consultants into billable projects.
  3. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, documentation, orientation, and training schedules.
    • Ensure a seamless offboarding experience for employees exiting the company, conducting exit interviews, and completing necessary paperwork.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in both the US and India throughout the employee lifecycle.
  4. Contract & Statement of Work (SOW) Management:

    • Draft, review, and manage contracts, non‑disclosure agreements (NDAs), and Statements of Work (SOW) for clients and contractors.
    • Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract terms are compliant with applicable laws and reflect the needs of the business.
    • Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and SOWs.
  5. Invoicing & Billing:

    • Prepare and send invoices to clients in accordance with project milestones, retainer agreements, and other billing arrangements.
    • Manage client billing cycles, track payments, and follow up on overdue invoices.
    • Resolve any invoicing discrepancies or disputes and communicate with clients or internal teams as needed.
  6. QuickBooks Administration & Financial Support:

    • Manage daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks or other accounting platforms, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
    • Generate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and assist with month‑end closing.
    • Collaborate with the finance team in the US to reconcile accounts, process payments, and prepare for tax filings and audits.
  7. Administrative & Operational Support:

    • Provide general operational support to US management teams, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project timelines, and handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
    • Serve as a liaison between the US team and India‑based teams, ensuring alignment on tasks and objectives.
    • Help with ad‑hoc projects, research, and reporting as needed.
