Role Overview
As a Usability Designer with the Emergency Care Design
Requirements
- Experience in conducting task analysis, providing inputs to UI/UX designers, and reporting usability evaluations
- Knowledge of FDA guidance and IEC62366-1 for usability of medical devices
- Understanding of quality systems and risk management principles
- Experience in healthcare domain and clinical workflows
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and global organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in writing high-quality formal documentation in English
Responsibilities
- Define usability strategy and lead usability activities in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
- Conduct user research, task analysis, and create use scenarios
- Create the usability engineering plan and lead usability FMEA
- Analyze post-market data and identify usability issues
- Support the development of user-centered UI and UX solutions
- Plan, execute, and report formative and summative user evaluations in compliance with regulatory requirements
