Your future team

We are a diverse and multicultural Project Management team within Volvo Construction Equipment’s Compact Business Unit. We value change, performance, passion, trust, and customer success. We collaborate in an agile and connected way, rather than working in silos.

Your mission

You will play a key role in accelerating our portfolio and project management systems through data and artificial intelligence:

• Transform large volumes of data from R&D activities, test benches, and real-world machine usage into actionable insights
• Design, train, and deploy machine learning and AI models for predictive portfolio and project planning
• Explore advanced techniques such as deep learning, optimization, agent-based modeling, and computer vision
• Integrate AI-driven solutions into engineers’ daily workflows
• Contribute to the development of a strong data and AI culture by sharing expertise, mentoring, and collaborating across teams
• Help identify new AI-driven innovation opportunities and ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and deliver customer value

Your profile

• You hold a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in statistics, machine learning, and AI is an advantage.
• As part of an international team, fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of German, or willingness to learn, is a plus.
