Job Description

Ashoka's global marketing and communications team is looking for a volunteer graphic designer who can help us turn documents like business plans, power points, and reports, into beautiful engaging resources for our team. This fiscal year, we are working to close major partnerships and ensure every staff member and network connection is on the same page with Ashoka's strategy. This volunteer will help us make our work visual and more accessible to the many key actors in our network. Ashoka's vision is powerful, but strategy can be complex. Compelling images are critical to help our community understand how the future can be different.

Volunteer Logistics

• Estimated hours required per week: 4
• The estimated duration of the project is: 3-6 months
• This position is Virtual (Remote)

Language Requirements

• English

Desired Skills And Experience

• Previous experience in graphic and visual design for nonprofit organizations;
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic design fundamentals, typography, print, and web;
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Canva;
• Ability to adhere to Ashoka's brand guidelines; and
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with dynamic teams.
