Position Overview
The Vice President of IT will lead the strategic vision, execution, and performance of all technology systems across the organization.
This executive will ensure that technology infrastructure supports scalability, operational excellence, and guest experience, while maintaining best-in-class standards in cybersecurity, system reliability, and data integrity.
This is a high-impact role for a forward-thinking technology leader with deep experience in retail, restaurant, or QSR environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business growth and operational goals
- Build and manage long-term IT roadmaps supporting expansion and innovation
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with company objectives
Systems & Infrastructure
- Oversee implementation and optimization of core systems, including POS, digital ordering, loyalty platforms, and back-office systems
- Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with minimal disruption to operations
- Maintain high system performance, uptime, and reliability across all locations
Cybersecurity & Data Management
- Lead cybersecurity strategy, ensuring protection of company and customer data
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and compliance standards
- Oversee secure data collection, storage, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance aligns with business needs and budget
- Evaluate and implement new solutions that drive efficiency and competitive advantage
Innovation & Growth
- Identify emerging technologies and trends within the restaurant and retail space
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
- Support new store openings with scalable and efficient IT infrastructure
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across departments
- Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth retail, restaurant, or QSR environment
- Strong expertise in POS systems, digital ordering platforms, loyalty programs, and back-office systems
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale system implementations and integrations
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and data governance
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
