Owner provides industry leadership for Service Design and Product Design (UI/UX) projects. This role ensures learner teams solve meaningful business and user problems through human-centered design approaches, with deliverables aligned to Australian industry standards and professional expectations. • *Key Responsibilities** • Define and validate user problems, design challenges, project objectives, and success metrics (KPIs). • Review sprint deliverables to ensure alignment with user needs, usability standards, and business goals. • Assess user research, personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs. • Provide strategic feedback on usability, interaction design, visual design, and overall user experience. • Ensure design solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with product and business objectives. • Guide teams in design storytelling, case study creation, and executive-level presentations. • Identify usability issues, design gaps, assumptions, and risks, and recommend improvements. • Collaborate with the project manager to maintain quality and consistency across all design deliverables. • *Required Experience** • 17+ years in Service Design, Product Design, UI/UX Design, or related domains. • Proven track record of leading user-centric design and digital product initiatives. • Demonstrated experience with Australian clients, organisations, or delivery teams. • Strong understanding of design thinking, user research, usability principles, and design systems. • Experience mentoring or reviewing design and UX projects (preferred). • *Technical Skills** • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar • Experience with journey mapping and service design tools (e.g., Miro, FigJam) • Strong understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) or analytics tools (optional)
