What You Can Expect

• You will support the recording and analysis of customer requirements.
• You will help with the conception and development of database structures, models, and data pipelines.
• You will work on the automation and maintenance of workflows, ensuring our data and processes remain stable and error-free.
• You will support the connection and cleaning of various data sources such as APIs, flat files, and databases.
• You will be actively involved in collaboration with our team members and learn agile project methods such as prototyping, MVPs, and sprints.

What You Should Bring

• You are currently studying a STEM or business-related field or have a comparable qualification.
• You have already gained initial practical experience (e.g., through internships or projects) in Data Engineering or related areas.
• You have a good understanding of databases, data modeling, and processes such as ETL/ELT and workflow automation.
• You master at least one programming language.
• Bonus: You are interested in technologies like Big Data (Spark, Hadoop), Databricks, or cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as data visualization.
• Initial experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) is an advantage.
• You are motivated, analytical, structured, reliable, and have a high willingness to learn.

How it Continues After the First Contact:

1. First Round: Invitation to an initial, non-binding video call with our HR Manager Jana to get to know you better on a personal level.
2. Second Round: A personal meeting in our beautiful office in Essen with the responsible founder/head of our founding trio.
3. Third Round: The final phase - contract offer and closing!
