AI / ML Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for a technology specialist to lead our transition to AI-assisted and LLM-powered software development workflows. This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who understands both modern software engineering and the rapidly evolving landscape of large language models. You will help our engineering teams adopt AI tools effectively, build internal tooling and best practices, and ensure we get measurable value from these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of AI-powered applications in capital markets, including areas such as trade analytics, risk modeling, and financial data processing
• Assess current development processes and identify where LLM-based tools can improve speed, quality, or developer experience
• Evaluate, pilot, and recommend AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as well as model APIs for custom integrations
• Develop internal guidelines, prompt libraries, and best practices for using LLMs in code generation, review, testing, and documentation
• Build or oversee custom LLM-powered tools and workflows tailored to our engineering stack
• Train and mentor engineering teams on effective AI-assisted development techniques
• Collaborate with security, legal, and leadership on data privacy, IP, and acceptable use policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and developer-focused AI tools
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
• Experience with agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, or LLM-integrated applications is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
