The Role

We're looking for a seasoned AI/ML Solution Architect to join us as a remote contract consultant. You'll work across client engagements including a major Canadian healthcare institution, designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions that drive real-world impact. This is a minimum 6-month contract with strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

What You'll Work On

• Designing and deploying machine learning and predictive modelling solutions for healthcare and other industries
• Building Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and OpenAI/LangChain frameworks
• Architecting scalable data pipelines and cloud-based ML infrastructure
• Developing Computer Vision and NLP solutions tailored to client needs
• Collaborating with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML architecture and delivery
• Strong proficiency with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and RAG-based architectures
• Solid experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP (cloud-native ML deployments)
• Experience working in or with healthcare environments is a strong asset
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and privacy regulations (PIPEDA, PHIPA) is an asset
• Proven ability to work independently and manage client-facing engagements
• Strong communication skills — you can explain AI to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in a consulting or contract environment is a strong asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Contract Details

• $60–$80/hr CAD (commensurate with experience)
• Minimum 150 hours/month
• 6-month initial contract, with extensions based on performance and project requirements
• Fully remote — open to candidates across Canada
