Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex and other platforms.
• Build and optimize Generative AI chatbots leveraging LLMs for dynamic, context-aware interactions.
• Implement multi-modal AI solutions including voice and text-based interactions.
• Monitor, review and mentor other members of team, providing technical guidance and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, UX designers, and product managers to deliver innovative conversational solutions.
• Stay current with emerging trends in conversational AI, generative AI, and multi-modal technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall industry experience, with at least 3 years focused on conversational AI.
• Proven expertise in Amazon Lex and at least one other conversational AI platform.
• Hands-on experience building Generative AI chatbots using LLMs.
• Strong proficiency in Python and full-stack development principles.
• Experience implementing multi-modal AI (voice + text) and speech-to-text technologies.
• Familiarity with analytics tools for chatbot performance tracking.
• Experience with LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) for semantic search.
• Exposure to banking domain use cases for conversational AI.
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts, intent recognition, and entity extraction.
