About the role

As a Data Scientist at Improzo, you will play a crucial role in driving insights for pharma clients using advanced ML, Gen AI, and LLMs on complex healthcare data. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Proactively engaging with client/business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and strategic objectives. - Exploring, cleaning, and preparing large, complex datasets from various sources. - Translating ambiguous business problems into well-defined data science questions. - Designing, developing, validating, and deploying robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms. - Developing models for sales forecasting, marketing mix optimization, customer segmentation, and more. - Analyzing promotional effectiveness and patient persistency/adherence. - Extracting insights from unstructured text data and developing AI solutions. - Transforming complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and supporting the entire data science lifecycle.

Qualifications required for this role include: - Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field. - 4 years progressive experience as a Data Scientist. - Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations. - Experience working with real-world patient data. - Strong programming skills in Python and/or R. - Proficiency in data visualization tools and SQL. - Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies. - Specific experience with NLP techniques, Generative AI models, and Large Language Models. - Experience with MLOps practices and tools. - Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
