Requirements

• Masters or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience using data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental data analysis.
• Experience working with scientific, laboratory, or formulation datasets is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze formulation, experimental, and process data to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop predictive and statistical models to support formulation design, ingredient selection, and performance evaluation.
• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows to structure and prepare laboratory and formulation data for analysis.
• Create clear and interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to scientific and business stakeholders.
• Partner closely with formulation scientists, R&I teams, and digital stakeholders to translate scientific challenges into data science solutions.
• Support experimentation strategies by applying data‑driven approaches such as design of experiments (DoE), machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Contribute to the development of digital tools and analytics capabilities that enable smarter and faster formulation decisions.
• Document methodologies, models, and analytical workflows to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.
