Your Daily Life

Located near Orléans, the site is a benchmark in supporting weapon systems and radars worldwide. It hosts engineering, development, and integration activities for air defense systems.

The Customer Worldwide Services (CWS) Sector ensures customer satisfaction for the Surface Radar (SRA) and Integrated Air Systems (IAS) Business Lines and develops service activities for all Thales military radars. The PSM service is responsible for the sustainability of all these products. The missions of the Product Support Manager (PSM) role are:

  • Product availability and reliability
  • Support system performance
  • Product and support system lifecycle strategy
  • Capitalization for the benefit of products and services

Due to needs on the "Future Surface-to-Air Missile Family" fleet, we are looking for a Deputy PSM to jointly manage all system activities. The teams involved are currently based in Limours and Fleury. Travel between the two sites is to be expected depending on the subjects.

As Deputy Product Support Manager, you will be responsible for in-service Product support. Your missions will be to:

  • Manage obsolescence treatment projects, with the main activities to be scheduled:

    • Manage activities for obsolescence treatment, supervise the various stages to ensure an operationally viable solution in line with expected deadlines.
    • Support project teams in defining the implementation strategy for the fleet.
    • Unite all stakeholders (engineering, support, supplier, project) throughout the process.
  • Supervise all major in-service technical issues:

    • Manage expertise/testing, root cause analysis with the aim of proposing a solution adapted to the client's context.
    • Ensure/manage the handling of complex customer technical questions (issues outside the support concept) and rely on the support of product engineering, service engineering, and suppliers to answer them.
    • Prepare/justify proposals to the project.
  • Contribute to the capitalization of technical issues, treatment solutions, as well as product evolution management, updating the support repository, to ensure product mastery and its "sustainability" throughout its lifecycle.

  • Draft/contribute to or validate project deliverables such as sustainability reports, technical issue analysis reports, Service bulletins, repair reports...

  • Monitor the scope complementary to the radar (Shelter MRI, SDI, services...) to propose a sustainability strategy

Your Profile

With a Master's degree (BAC+5), you have skills/experience in:

  • Maintaining operational condition of in-service products
  • Handling technical issues, ideally on radar products
  • Managing investigations in varied technical contexts with multidisciplinary participants.
