Your Daily Life
Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing air surveillance radars dedicated to detecting and identifying targets.
The Customer Worldwide Services (CWS) sector ensures customer satisfaction and business development for services on all Thales military radars and systems, for the Surface Radar (SRA) and Integrated Air Systems (IAS) Business Lines.
As a Deputy Product Support Manager, you will join a next-generation radar PSM team to be at the heart of the technical performance of our radars in service. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supervising technical facts of GM radars in service:
- Analyzing field feedback (failures, anomalies, improvement requests).
- Managing complex technical investigations (excluding support concept), in collaboration with product engineering or business experts.
- Ensuring product availability and reliability:
- Defining and implementing action plans to maintain performance (failure analysis, minor functional improvements, support concept evolutions, maintenance documentation updates).
- Proposing product evolutions based on technical facts encountered in service, and arguing these proposals to stakeholders.
- Ensuring overall consistency between the product roadmap, the support roadmap, and the solutions proposed to clients.
- Capitalizing and sharing knowledge in reference databases.
Work Environment
- Varied contacts: technical teams (engineering, maintenance), project teams, military clients, suppliers
- Dynamic pace: alternating between in-depth technical analysis and operational management of emergencies.
- Collaboration: working in a multidisciplinary team, with a strong spirit of sharing and continuous improvement.
Occasional travel to accompany projects in client meetings (technical argumentation presentations, sustainability reports).
Your Profile
- BAC+5 degree with a strong interest in operational maintenance (MCO), you have experience/skills in:
- Technical support: significant experience in diagnosing and resolving technical problems (ideally in the field of radars or military systems)
- MCO: knowledge of the challenges of availability, reliability, and product longevity in service
- Managing technical investigations: ability to analyze varied contexts (hardware, services, software interactions, etc.)
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.
- Your ability to work in a team and your adaptability are recognized qualities.
