General Information:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain the brand consistency of James Madison University on digital platforms
  • Review updated/newly published web pages
  • Edit and/or suggest edits to improve the user experience of web pages
  • Complete daily webpage health reports
  • Data entry as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire/willingness to learn new skills

Additional consideration given for:

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS code, Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience using Mac systems
  • Awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1AA)

Conditions of Employment:

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
