About The Role

Our client is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist with hands-on HTML/CSS to lead marketing email production, segmentation, and scheduling using HubSpot. This is a highly hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality, error-free, on-brand email communications that support business and engagement goals.

The role is primarily dedicated to email production (approximately 80 percent), with additional responsibility for survey creation (5 percent) and content quality assurance (15 percent). You will work closely with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, user-centric digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Email Production and Content Execution

  • Produce and manage day-to-day marketing emails, including events, webinars, product updates, subscriptions, and educational content
  • Ensure all email content aligns with brand standards, tone, and audience needs
  • Build and maintain email templates, campaigns, automations, and post-event surveys in HubSpot

Quality, Scheduling, and Operations

  • Support quality assurance for all outbound marketing communications
  • Help manage a robust email calendar and coordinate scheduling across teams
  • Partner with email platforms and digital content contributors as needed

Optimization and Performance

  • Monitor email performance and identify issues or gaps
  • Report findings and recommend improvements based on data and performance trends

Skills And Strengths

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS and HubSpot (or comparable marketing automation platforms)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive communicator
  • Passion for user experience, digital engagement, and continuous improvement

Qualifications And Experience

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Hands-on experience with email production and campaign management
  • Agency experience strongly preferred; regulated or association experience is a plus but not required

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
