Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Support Engineer based in Abuja. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to internal teams and clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include performing system administration tasks, managing help desk support inquiries, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems and networks. The role also involves monitoring and maintaining IT security and providing timely resolutions to technical problems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Help Desk Support
- Strong skills in Information Technology and System Administration, Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues through Troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus
- Experience in IT support within industries such as energy, engineering, or government institutions is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related
