About the role

The Role

You’ll work across the full deal lifecycle, including:

  • Building detailed financial models (3-statement, DCF, IRR analysis).
  • Performing valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps).
  • Preparing IMs, teasers, investor materials & committee papers.
  • Supporting live M&A execution and due diligence processes.
  • Managing data rooms, stakeholder comms & transaction workflows.
  • Conducting sector research & market mapping (Energy & Infra focus).
  • Supporting business development and investor targeting.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performance culture.

Essential Requirements:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in Investment Banking / M&A
  • Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Industrials sectors
  • Fluent German + English (additional European languages a plus)
  • Strong financial modelling & valuation skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Strong academic background (MSc preferred)
  • Confident communicator, detail-driven, and team-oriented
  • Interest in pivoting from Generalist towards energy transition & infrastructure investing
