About the role
The Role
You’ll work across the full deal lifecycle, including:
- Building detailed financial models (3-statement, DCF, IRR analysis).
- Performing valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps).
- Preparing IMs, teasers, investor materials & committee papers.
- Supporting live M&A execution and due diligence processes.
- Managing data rooms, stakeholder comms & transaction workflows.
- Conducting sector research & market mapping (Energy & Infra focus).
- Supporting business development and investor targeting.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performance culture.
Essential Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience in Investment Banking / M&A
- Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Industrials sectors
- Fluent German + English (additional European languages a plus)
- Strong financial modelling & valuation skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Strong academic background (MSc preferred)
- Confident communicator, detail-driven, and team-oriented
- Interest in pivoting from Generalist towards energy transition & infrastructure investing
