We are Volt, and we are hiring immediately for a Junior Data Analyst in Plainsboro, New Jersey. This is a full-time contract opportunity with a pay rate of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with the final offer based on factors such as education, experience, job location, and specific responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• We will have you support our data management operations within the team.
• We will rely on you to organize, review, and analyze information from multiple data sources.
• We will have you handle data questions and answers and post reports and contracts to a shared site.
• We will expect you to conduct user acceptance testing for various system releases.
• We will ask you to provide ad hoc support to different team members as needed.

Requirements

• We are seeking a junior-level data analyst with 0 to 2 years of relevant coursework toward a degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
• We require strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and update pivot tables and use VLOOKUP and IF functions.
• We are looking for prior experience with relational databases and the ability to write and adjust queries.
• We value candidates who can support data management activities and work effectively with multiple data sources.
• We prefer individuals who can assist with user acceptance testing and provide flexible support to different team members.
