Responsibilities

  • As a (Junior) Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will independently develop and implement data models and algorithms for our customer-specific solutions. In doing so, you will identify and analyze problems within an analytical framework.
  • You will develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards. You will work on a variety of data-related components such as data platforms, dashboards, and products related to Data and Machine Learning.
  • Work on complex projects and datasets, analyze business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
  • You will use your communication skills to analyze customer problems in close cooperation with our customers and communicate the results effectively.
  • You will work across various technology stacks (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, DBX, ELK, Spark, Databricks, etc.).
  • Mentor junior data scientists and transfer knowledge within the team.
  • You will benefit from our team, learning resources, hackathons, and other sources to drive your technical development and be present in the machine learning community.

Qualifications

  • We look forward to your university degree with a technical background, for example in computer science, business informatics, (business) mathematics, data science, or a similar technical degree.
  • With your relevant experience in data science & data management or the development of production systems, you have good knowledge of Python, R, Rust, Pyspark, or SQL.
  • You are familiar with the basics of statistics and machine learning and also know their applications in production, such as NLP, recommender systems, time series analysis, and computer vision.
  • Furthermore, you are familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • You communicate well and gladly in German and English.
  • You are willing to learn, a team player, and can communicate technical concepts understandably.
  • You have good project management skills and can work both independently and in a team.
