Lead Mobile Engineer - Wealth Tech

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Mobile Engineering to lead the implementation of a high-performance, customer-centric wealth cross platform mobile app. You will be responsible for design systems, mobile architecture, API integrations via Kong, and mentoring engineers while delivering secure, scalable, and accessible mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead to design scalable app architecture (e.g., modularization, navigation strategy, state management) and lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using React Js, React Native for iOS, iPad, Android platforms
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
• Build responsive UI components using styled-components
• Collaborate with web teams using ReactJS for shared components and logic
• Configure and integrate Firebase config service
• Manage app releases and updates on App Store and Play Store
• Understanding of implementation of feature flags and remote configuration using Flagsmith or Unleash
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and optimize app functionality

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4 to 8 years hands-on experience in frontend development
• Deep expertise in React Js and React Native
• Proven experience building secure, performant, and accessible mobile apps
• Strong understanding of API integration and Kong-style gateway architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Vercel, GitHub Actions), analytics tools, and test automation
• Bonus: Experience in finance, wealth, or regulated industries
