Machine Learning Engineer with BI Expertise

We are staffing a fulltime position in Herndon, VA as a Machine Learning Engineer with BI Expertise. This person will work as part of an agile software development team to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, making them an integral part of delivering customer focused engineering solutions. The machine learning engineer should demonstrate solid data science knowledge and experience in a related ML role as well as expressing visualizations with Business Intelligence tools. A successful applicant will be someone who has the experience and knowledge to drive improvement in predictive automation software.

Requirements

• Must be a US CITIZEN with a TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE
• DoD IAT Level II Certification
• 3+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL, MATLAB, Jupyter
• 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning, AI or NLP
• Experience with visualization packages, such as Tableau, Qlik, Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, or Data Analytics or equivalently related
• A relevant certification for Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or ML Data Science
• Qlik Sense, Business Analyst, or Data Architect Certification
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, data / ML services
• 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 3+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
• Experience with data visualizations tools, including Tableau or Qlik Sense
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalently related
• Strong communication and writing skills
• DoD IAT Level II Certification
