- Ensure data quality, reproducibility and proper documentation across all research datasets and analysis
- Stay current with emerging bioinformatics and data science technologies relevant to preclinical and translational research
Skills required:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in handling large-scale biological datasets, especially scRNA-seq data
- Ability to leverage machine learning techniques to identify novel biomarkers and extract biological meaning from complex multi-omic data
- Solid understanding of molecular biology and translational research principles
- Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages, in specific R and Python, and familiarity with relevant bioinformatics tools (e.g. Seurat)
- Experience with data visualization and interpretation for non-computational audiences
- Ability to work interdisciplinarily with experimental biologists and contribute to multi-omics integration projects
- Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in German and English language
